The first thing one would probably notice about Pastor Drew Harris is his extraordinary humility. This quiet, gentle, yet powerful man of God displays a passion for the lost that is clearly evident in everything he does. As a leader, he has learned the fine art of putting the needs of other people before his own; he has learned how to treat others with respect; he has learned how to encourage those facing life’s difficulties; and he has learned how to recognize and value the gifts and talents placed in others. His heart to serve is portrayed in his relationships, as he seeks to discover how he is able to assist those who desire spiritual growth, in addition to suggesting various avenues for one to develop his/her gifts.
As a teacher, Pastor Harris breaks down the Word in a manner that is easily digestible to anyone, no matter what their level of spiritual maturity, or whether they have no experience in the things of God at all. He often begins his messages with a single topic; and then provides a general overview of the direction he will be taking. He forms a solid foundation, which enables a clear understanding of the concepts involved in his messages, by providing confirming Scriptures throughout the Old and New Testaments. Visual examples and analogies offer life to his words and the means necessary to apply these concepts in everyday situations that may often be encountered.
Pastor Harris is a man who understands the sacrifices, dedication, and discipline it takes to seek God’s face on a regular basis, to search for wisdom in the Scriptures and who is not only obedient to God’s prompting's so he can be blessed; he willingly shares this wisdom with others, so they can be blessed. Staying focused and following up on opportunities for growth, not only for himself and his family, but for associates as well, is only one of his admirable characteristics.
