Our 7 Foundational Principles
The values of “THE SPOKEN WORD” Church are supported by our Foundational Principles which drive our purpose and vision.
1. Evangelism – Our number one goal is the salvation of the lost.
2. We will seek the total improvement of each member of our ministry – spiritually, emotionally, physically and financially, by teaching biblical principles to achieve success in all these areas. We will also make available the necessary classes, group resources and qualified individuals to help each willing member achieve holistic improvement.
3. We will empower youth in our church and community with the Word of God, programs, resources, training and technology, to meet their needs.
4. We will prioritize outreach programs for hurting people (i.e. homeless, poor, those with substance abuse issues, the incarcerated, those who have suffered physical, verbal or emotional abuse, etc).
5. We will impact the city of San Jose and the surrounding Silicon Valley with media (internet, television, radio, and podcasting) ministry, outreach campaigns, crusades, business development, special events, prayer, intercession, partnering with schools, the community, and government officials.
6. We will strive to be the model for excellent ministry in our city.
7. We will stay humble, walk in love, and give God glory for our success.
